Poison opens with a dense, dark fruit accord: plum and wild berries laced with coriander, anise and Brazilian rosewood, an entrance that reads more like liqueur than fresh fruit. The heart is where Poison earns its reputation — tuberose and African orange flower pushed against incense, white honey, cinnamon, opoponax, carnation, jasmine and rose, a floral-spicy wall with almost no air in it.
