7e Sens is a 1979 Sonia Rykiel chypre-fruity composition that opens with aldehydes, plum, peach and bergamot — a bright, slightly waxy fruit overture that quickly gives way to a dense floral heart of carnation, white honey, rose, narcissus, ylang-ylang and jasmine. The honeyed carnation and rose give the middle a clove-tinged sweetness that collectors of vintage chypres will recognise immediately.
