A-9 Penhaligon's Halfeti

Halfeti opens with a bright, green-spiced burst: cypress leaf and bergamot cut through saffron, cardamom, artemisia and grapefruit, giving the composition an aromatic lift before it settles. The top is fresh and spicy at once, which keeps the scent from feeling heavy on first spray.

The heart turns floral and warm, with Bulgarian rose and jasmine threaded by nutmeg, before a deep base of agarwood (oud), cedar, leather, sandalwood, amber, tonka bean, vanilla and musk takes over. The result is a woody, warm-spicy oriental with a leathery oud backbone and a soft, sweetened finish. It suits collectors who want a rich, structured unisex scent for cool weather and evening wear, and who appreciate a rose-oud accord that stays resinous rather than sugary. Those new to oud should sample first; the leather and agarwood dominate the drydown.

Halfeti 以絲柏葉、佛手柑、番紅花、小荳蔻、苦艾與葡萄柚開場，前調青綠帶辛香，清爽而不厚重。中調轉為保加利亞玫瑰與茉莉，佐以肉荳蔻，花香溫潤。基調由沉香、雪松、皮革、檀香、琥珀、零陵香豆、香草與麝香構成，木質暖辛、帶皮革與沉香骨架，收尾微甜柔和。整體屬東方木質調，層次分明，適合喜歡玫瑰沉香組合、追求濃郁結構的收藏者，於秋冬或晚間場合使用；初次接觸沉香者建議先試香，因皮革與沉香在後段較為突出。
