Herod (2012) is a woody spicy masculine built around a dense tobacco-vanilla core. The opening flashes cinnamon and Pepperwood™, a sharp, dry spice that quickly yields to the heart: tobacco leaf, incense, osmanthus, and labdanum. That heart is where Herod earns its reputation — the tobacco is rich but not ashy, the incense adds a cool resinous thread, and osmanthus lends a faint leathery-fruity nuance. The base is a long, sweet, ambery drydown of vanilla, Iso E Super, musk, cedar, cypriol, vetiver, and amber. Collectors should note the 2012 original batches are prized for deeper tobacco and less synthetic sweetness than later reformulations. It suits cool-weather evening wear, mature tastes, and anyone who wants a plush, spiced tobacco without gourmand excess. Not for heat or office restraint.

Herod（2012）係一款木質辛辣男香，核心係煙草同雲呢拿。開頭係肉桂同 Pepperwood™ 嘅乾辣，好快入到中調：煙草葉、乳香、桂花同勞丹脂。煙草厚身但唔灰，乳香帶出清涼樹脂感，桂花加咗少少皮革果香。基調係雲呢拿、Iso E Super、麝香、雪松、莎草、香根草同琥珀，甜而暖，留香長。2012 年初版批次煙草更濃、甜感較少，係收藏重點。適合秋冬夜晚、成熟穩重嘅場合，唔適合炎熱天氣或辦公室。
