Vol de Nuit arrived in 1933, and its architecture still reads as unusually serious for a women's scent of that era: galbanum, narcissus, bergamot, orange blossom, lemon, orange and mandarin open bright and bitter-green, then hand off to a heart of iris, more narcissus, aldehydes, vanilla, violet, Indonesian carnation, rose and jasmine. The base settles into oakmoss, orris root, sandalwood, spices and musk. Powdery and iris-led by a wide margin, it is green and earthy underneath, with citrus threading through the top.

Collectors come to Vol de Nuit for that powdery-green tension — the cool, rooty iris and orris against moss and spice — rather than for sweetness. Vol de Nuit 誕生於 1933 年，木質鳶尾的骨架至今仍顯嚴謹：白松香、水仙、佛手柑、橙花、檸檬與柑橘開場，明亮中帶苦綠；中調轉入鳶尾、醛香、紫羅蘭、玫瑰、茉莉與印尼康乃馨，底韻落在橡木苔、鳶尾根、檀香、香料與麝香。整體以粉感與鳶尾為主軸，綠意與土質感墊底，柑橘只在頂端輕輕穿過。
