Royal Extrait

Royal Extrait arrived in 2014 as a Guerlain women's Oriental Floral, and its listed pyramid is unusually top-loaded: resins, peach, iris, amber, rose, tuberose, vanilla and jasmine all sit in the opening. In practice that means the first minutes are dense and layered rather than a clean citrus lift — amber and resins giving warmth, peach and vanilla softening the edges, iris lending powder, and the white florals pushing through. The published accords bear this out: amber at the top, then powdery, iris, white floral, tuberose and rose. No heart or base notes are documented, so collectors should expect the composition to unfold from that single stated block rather than a conventional three-stage arc.

It suits wearers who like powdery amber orientals with a floral core and don't mind a rich, sweet-resinous opening. The powdery-iris and tuberose combination places it closer to classic Guerlain opulence than to anything sheer or modern. Best for evening, cooler weather and formal occasions; sample first if heavy amber and powder tend to overwhelm you.

呢支適合鍾意粉感琥珀東方調、接受濃甜樹脂開場嘅用家；粉感鳶尾配晚香玉，氣質偏向經典 Guerlain 式華麗，唔係輕透現代路線。夜晚、秋冬同正式場合最合適；如果怕厚重琥珀同粉感，建議先試香。
