Quand Vient La Pluie (2007) opens on a bright, aromatic lift of orange blossom, rosemary and bergamot — a citrus-herbal top that reads almost like a rain-washed garden before the composition settles. The heart turns distinctly powdery and white-floral, with violet and heliotrope giving that soft, sugared-almond haze around jasmine. The base lands on praline, musk, patchouli and amber: sweet and rounded, but grounded by patchouli so it never tips into pure confection.

Collectors should expect a Guerlain in the powdery-floral register rather than a big statement oriental — the dominant accord is powder, backed by white florals and violet, with sweetness and citrus close behind.
