Oud Excelsa from Caron, released in 2024, is a unisex woody-spicy composition built on a single listed tier of top notes: oud, Bulgarian rose, coffee, cardamom, pine tar, cedar essence, birch, papyrus and labdanum. No heart or base notes are documented, so collectors should read the opening as the whole architecture — a dense, resinous accord where rose and coffee sit against tarry pine and smoky birch, with papyrus and labdanum adding dry, leathery weight.
