Acaciosa

Acaciosa is a 1924 Caron floral built on an unusually dense white-floral core. The top layer opens with jasmine, orange blossom, ylang-ylang, rose and lily-of-the-valley — a full bouquet rather than a single soliflore. As it settles, the heart repeats jasmine and orange blossom and adds sandalwood and a distinct pineapple note, which gives the composition a fruity, slightly tart sweetness against the flowers. The base closes on amber, vanilla and musk, warm and rounded rather than sharp.

Collectors should expect a powdery, sweet white-floral profile with woody and rose facets underneath; the accord breakdown leans heavily white floral, with sweetness and powder close behind.
